Anna Noack brings her whole-hearted approach to life onto the yoga mat, creating inviting space that welcomes all ages and abilities. Her love of connection unifies breath, body, mind and spirit in a creative practice that invites deep vitality and wellbeing to everyday life, through yoga.
Anna’s trust in the power of embodied work to stir personal growth for body, mind and spirit, stems from her 22 years of work with the Hero’s Journey Foundation.
Anna received her YTT-200 at CITYOGA, in Indy, IN USA, and is a registered teacher through Yoga Alliance. (Further training includes Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Functional Anatomy.)
ABOUT + SANCTUARY COMMUNITY YOGA
Community Yoga is centered in the idea that the benefits of yoga are for EVERY BODY! Anna welcomes everyone to the mat, with an open-hearted yoga practice that connects mindful movement and breath.
Tuesday evening practice continues to be donation based, welcoming of all and faithful to the idea that we come together FOR ourselves but not BY ourselves when we practice together. Right now we’re hanging out on Zoom, and we’d love you to join us.
Our regular Home Base is the generously shared space at Downey Avenue Christian Church, 111 S Downey Ave, IN 46219. Our space has floor to ceiling glass windows that overlook the gorgeous garden in the courtyard. There’s bathroom and water fountain facilities, and a place to lock your bike up. (It’s a short walk to neighborhood eateries after class!) We’ll keep you updated just as soon as we start meeting together in person once more, and plan on keeping Zoom as a way

It's a fact that our human brains really love certainty. We feel better able to cope with life when we have a better understanding of the world around us, in order to synthesize ourselves and our belonging. In fact - it's one of the helpful aspects of a yoga practice!...
