It’s a fact that our human brains really love certainty. We feel better able to cope with life when we have a better understanding of the world around us, in order to synthesize ourselves and our belonging. In fact – it’s one of the helpful aspects of a yoga practice! We tune into our sensory selves – getting curious about sensations in the body, paying attention to how things feel, what we can observe, the sounds around us – engaging with our senses and using our awareness as knowledge to become better able to feel more at ease in our bodies and at home in our mind.
So to that end, we’re offering updates about our community practice right here on the site – just some notes about what the timeline about being back in the building is, what our other opportunities for meeting over the summer might look like if it’s not inside (Yoga pop-up’s at the park?) PLUS – some general news about yoga in general, as we all continue to lean into practices that grow wellbeing in times that desperately need a little more capacity for wellbeing! – <3 Anna
